Ever since I was a little kid, I’ve felt this strong connection to Nature — my teacher, guide and inspiration. Hence why I chose to study Biology at the Faculty of Exact and Natural Science in the University of Buenos Aires. I specialized in Animal Ecology, focusing on Marine Biology. I graduated at the beginning of 2021 with a GPA higher than the historical average.
During my undergraduate studies, I won the UBA-int scholarship to study a semester at the Universitá di Bologna, Italy.
After graduating, I worked as a volunteer and as an assistant on research and conservation projects, where I gained intensive field experience and expertise in animal management, while also developing my own scientific and implementation skills. I worked with several megafauna species, such as the Magellanic penguin and the Southern rockhopper penguin, sea turtles and whales, in different parts of the world, including the Argentine Patagonia, Costa Rica and Antarctica.
I recently completed the Postgraduate Diploma in International Wildlife Conservation Practice at University of Oxford with honors.
I’m interested in education and science communication. For this reason, I’m pursuing a career in environmental education: I took a training course at the Buenos Aires Zoo to become an Environmental Instructor, and I’ve worked at primary and secondary schools, at universities and at tutoring centers. Nowadays, I’m a naturalist guide on cruises and I use social media to spread information and educate the general public. I enjoy collaborating on educational projects in non-formal settings to raise awareness and create interest in Nature in a passionate and accessible way.
I consider myself an explorer and, above all else, an adventurer. I’m a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver, hold a RYA Powerboat 2 certificate (and an Argentine license), and am certified as a Wilderness First Responder.
